The Blue Hole, also called Irie Blue Hole or Secret Falls, is a hidden gem in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Unlike crowded tourist spots, it offers a tranquil, authentic experience. Visitors can swim in deep limestone pools, explore underwater caves, and enjoy rope swings and cliff jumping. A scenic hike leads to Secret Falls (Island Gully Falls), featuring a breathtaking 20-foot waterfall and secluded swimming areas. Though rustic, basic amenities like bathrooms and changing rooms are available.

Located 4 miles east of Ocho Rios, the Blue Hole is accessible by a scenic drive through rural communities. Visitors should bring essentials like water shoes, a swimsuit, and a waterproof camera while keeping valuables to a minimum. The terrain can be rugged, so hiring a local guide ensures a safer and more informative experience. Tours often include guided hikes and transportation.
