Building Brighter Futures: NHT Launches $1M Construction Scholarship for Tertiary Students

Kingston, Jamaica — Jamaica’s next generation of builders, architects, and urban visionaries are being offered a significant opportunity to advance their careers through the National Housing Trust (NHT)’s 2024/25 Construction Scholarship Programme, which provides up to $1 million in financial assistance per student.

Open to Jamaican nationals currently enrolled in undergraduate construction-related programmes at the University of Technology (UTech) or the University of the West Indies (UWI), the scholarship aims to strengthen the pipeline of skilled professionals critical to Jamaica’s housing and infrastructure development.

Applications will be accepted until November 24, and up to 10 students are expected to benefit from this initiative.
