Parish: St. Ann
Buxton, located in St. Ann, is a historic free village established by Reverend John Clark with the support of philanthropist Mr. Sturge. It was named after Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, a prominent abolitionist who worked tirelessly to end slavery in the British Empire.
