The Circuit Court is a higher-level court where serious legal cases are handled, including big real estate disputes. In Jamaica, when there are important disagreements about who owns a piece of land, how it can be used, or other major property issues, these cases might go to the Circuit Court. This court looks at all the information, hears from everyone involved, and then makes a decision based on the rules and laws. It’s the place where bigger, more complicated cases are settled, different from smaller courts that handle less complex issues. Lawyers argue on behalf of their clients, be they individuals, families, or companies, to make sure everyone’s side of the story is heard and a fair decision is reached.
