Did you know that 65% of all megaprojects fail?

Over 65% of projects fail, and scheduling errors are a key factor. We recognize that, ultimately, construction projects are incredibly complex and difficult activities, with no quick or simple fixes. However, we at Jamaica Homes are in a privileged position to identify common project scheduling mistakes and potential remedies. Only one in three projects will turn out to be successful. According to Standish Group’s 2015 Chaos report, 66% of building projects (based on the analysis of 50,000 projects worldwide) end in partial or total failure. More surprisingly, these statistics have been the same for the last five years, the report shows. Furthermore, 17% of large projects go so badly that they can threaten the very existence of a company.
