A house agent is a person who helps people buy, sell, or rent houses. In Jamaica and around the world, house agents play an important role in making sure people can find homes they love or sell their homes when they need to. To work as a house agent in Jamaica, they have to get a license from the Real Estate Board, which is a group that makes sure agents follow the rules and do their job in an honest way. This means that house agents are trained to give good advice and help people feel safe with big decisions, like buying a home.
