  1. Apply for the Real Estate Salesman Course

    • Submit your application to the Real Estate Training Institute (RETI).

  2. Complete the Course

    • Successfully complete the Real Estate Salesman training program offered by RETI.

  3. Pass the Prerequisite Exams

    • Sit and pass the required exams to demonstrate your knowledge of real estate practices and regulations.

  4. Obtain a Criminal Record Certificate

    • Visit your parish council’s Tax Office to pay the fee for a criminal records check.

    • Book an appointment with the relevant office to get fingerprinted.

    • Collect your Criminal Record Certificate on the designated date.

  5. Visit the Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency

    • Go to the Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency, located on the second floor of the Caldon Finance Building at 52-60 Grenada Crescent, Kingston.

    • Bring your Jamaican Tax Registration Number (TRN), address details, and pay the relevent fee in cash.

    • Obtain the Bankruptcy Receipt, which will be sent directly to the Real Estate Board (REB).
