Just cool boss: In Jamaican Patois, “Just cool boss” is a laid-back phrase used to tell someone to relax, calm down, or take it easy, often used to ease tension or offer reassurance. In the context of real estate, it’s a phrase that can help diffuse stress or frustration, especially during negotiations or when things aren’t going as expected. For example, if a client is feeling overwhelmed by the home-buying process, an agent might say, “Just cool boss, everything will work out—wi have it under control.” Similarly, if a client is anxious about a delay, an agent might use the phrase to reassure them, “Mi know yuh anxious, but just cool boss, di paperwork will get sorted soon.” This expression adds a sense of calm and approachability to real estate conversations, reminding clients to trust the process and not to rush or worry unnecessarily.
