Meaning: “Nuttin” is a Jamaican Patois term that means “nothing.” It is used to refer to the absence of something or to emphasize the lack of importance or value in a particular situation. It can also be used to convey a sense of casualness or indifference, often in response to a question or statement where the answer is negative or negligible.

Example in a sentence:
“Mi nuh have nuttin fi sell.”
This translates to “I don’t have anything to sell,” where “nuttin” indicates the lack of goods or items available for sale.

In a real estate context, “nuttin” might be used informally to suggest a lack of available properties or progress on a deal. For example, a real estate agent might say, “Mi check di listings, but nuttin deh right now,” meaning there are no suitable properties available at the moment.
