Old Pera

Old Pera is a historic fishing village in south-eastern Jamaica, located 15 minutes east of Morant Bay, with stunning views of the mountains and Caribbean Sea. The village is known for its Kumina, a traditional ritual honoring ancestors, often held after a recent death. This cultural practice remains an important part of Old Pera’s heritage.
