PERT Chart

A PERT Chart, or Program Evaluation Review Technique, is a project management tool used to plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks within a project. Widely used in Jamaica and globally, the PERT Chart helps visualize the sequence of tasks, estimate the time required for each, and identify the critical path—the longest sequence of activities that determines the project’s duration. By mapping out dependencies and potential bottlenecks, this chart allows project managers to optimize timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and anticipate challenges, ultimately enhancing the likelihood of timely and successful project completion.
