Roxborough is a small community south of Mandeville in Manchester, Jamaica, and the birthplace of National Hero and politician Norman Washington Manley.

History

Originally named “Roxbro Castle,” the estate’s great house fell into disrepair and was destroyed by fire in 1968. Despite past and ongoing restoration proposals from the Jamaica National Heritage Trust, the site remains a point of historical interest.
