Guardians of the North Coast
Few parishes in Jamaica embody the island’s spirit of natural beauty, heritage, and innovation quite like St. Ann — often called “The Garden Parish.” Beyond its lush landscapes and turquoise coastline, St. Ann is a living showcase of what happens when vision meets stewardship.
At the centre of that stewardship stands the St. Ann Development Company Limited (SADCo) — a wholly owned subsidiary of the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), entrusted with managing and developing the UDC’s properties within the parish.
From the world-renowned Dunn’s River Falls to the idyllic Laughing Waters, SADCo’s portfolio reads like a love letter to Jamaica’s natural and cultural heritage. But the company’s role is more than caretaking. It is about balancing preservation with progress, and ensuring that St. Ann’s most cherished spaces continue to serve both the people and the economy of Jamaica.
